ZWO AM5N Strain Wave Gear Mount & Carbon Fiber Tripod Kit

This AM5N Strain Wave Gear Mount & Carbon Fiber Tripod Kit from Fotohaus Klinger provides a compact and precise alt-az/equatorial telescope mount and a sturdy but lightweight set of legs to support it. The AM5N can hold 33 pounds of optics or camera and accessories with no counterweight needed. The tripod includes a spreader and a weight back for stability.

Designed with a strain wave gear reducer and synchronous belt for precise control, the ZWO AM5N Harmonic Equatorial GoTo Mount offers alt-az operation for observation and go-to equatorial tracking for astrophotography via a smartphone app or an ergonomic hand controller. The mount weighs just 12.1 pounds but can support payloads up to 33 pounds on its own or 44 pounds with a user-supplied counterweight and shaft. A brake system ensures the mount won't topple in the event of a power failure. The mount runs on a user-supplied 12V, 5A power supply and is compatible with ASCOM and ZWO's ASIAIR platforms.

Built for ZWO telescope mounts but also compatible with iOptron, Sky-Watcher, and Rainbow Astro, this Carbon Fiber Tripod provides a stable platform for your night sky observation and photography. The two-section legs extend to a 31.5"maximum height with a lock on the spider and a spreader bar providing security. The included weight bag can be used to add stability.
