Vinten System Vision 100 FT Head, Carbon Fiber Tripod, Ground Spreader, and Case

This Vinten System Vision 100 FT Head, Carbon Fiber Tripod, Ground Spreader, and Case supports cameras and accessories weighing up to 44.1 pounds and is well suited for medium to large camcorders. The Vision 100 head features a 100mm bowl, adjustable pan bar, a sliding balance plate to balance your camera, variable counterbalance adjustment, and variable tilt drag. The head also features a tilt range of -90 to +90°.

The included flowtech 100 carbon fiber tripod is lightweight, supports a 100mm bowl, and comes with a ground spreader. The system comes with removable rubber boots that can go over the spikes and connect the legs to the spreader. The two-stage legs have three locking points and can be adjusted individually when the spreader is removed. The tripod supports up to 66 pounds, which can easily handle the weight of the fluid head as well as your camera and accessories.

Additionally, each leg features a magnetic locking system strong enough to hold them together during transport, but gives enough to easily release the legs when you want to set them up. Use the included padded carry bag for storing or transporting the head and legs.

Offers perfect balance throughout its payload range and allow heads to tilt through the full range of ±90°, without being anxious that the tripod will tumble.

The Vision 100 pan & tilt head achieves the Perfect Counter Balance by means of an innovative and patented infinitely-variable spring mechanism. This allows the head to tilt through the full range of ±90° in perfect balance, eliminating a considerable amount of physical effort required by the operator to control the tilting action. Since the camera is perfectly balanced, it can be left at any angle - totally hands free - without having to lock the tilt brake. The variable counterbalance mechanism allows it to be used with a variety of lenses, batteries, viewfinders and on-camera lights.

For even faster setup, the Vision 100 offers a digital counterbalance readout, with repeatable balance setting. The display is activated by a simple press of a button and remains visible for 15 seconds.

The Vision 100 uses the Vinten TF (Thin Film) damping system, to provide consistent drag and constant performance in demanding conditions from -40°F to +140°F. The TF system offers total control, for precise movement and excellent camera control during the critical slow start-up of your shot. Providing seamless transition into Whip Pan and instant recovery to the original drag setting at the finish of the movement.
