Set up your digital signage, presentation, or store display with the NovaStar 8-Bit COEX MX40 PRO LED Controller from Unilumin. The MX40 Pro is a professional COEX-series video controller and processor that connects to an LED display for various applications such as video conferencing, exhibitions, classrooms, store displays, or digital ad signage. The controller features HDMI 2.0, 12G-SDI, and DisplayPort 1.2 inputs, Gigabit Ethernet outputs, genlock in/out, as well as 10G optical fiber video and S/PDIF optical audio outputs for high-quality signage.
The MX40 Pro supports precise 14-channel adjustment to hue, saturation, and brightness of black, white, and the 12 derived standard RGB colors of the red, green, and blue primary colors. It also supports adjustment to the image RGBW mapping curves.
It also supports free replacement of any color in the image without affecting the performance of other colors. Replacing highly saturated colors is recommended for better visuals.
The system supports up to four 4K layers and layer priority adjustment in Z order.
Use 3D LUT files (.cube) with an accuracy of 17x17x17, 33x33x33, and 65x65x65 to adjust the colors of the video source.
Real-time analysis and dynamic adjustments are made to each frame to significantly improve display contrast and image details for a better visual experience, effectively controlling and lowering the display power consumption, extending the service life of the LED screen.
The unit is compatible with NovaStar's high-precision calibration system and the C3200 scientific-grade camera to generate unique calibration coefficients for each grayscale, ensuring uniformity and improving the image quality.
NOTE: This function requires pairing with the A10s Pro receiving card and a C3200 camera for full grayscale calibration.
The system works with 3D emitters and 3D glasses to provide an immersive 3D viewing experience.
The MX40 Pro supports HLG and HDR10 and complies with the SMPTE ST 2084 and SMPTE ST 2086 standards.
NOTE: When using HDR and an A10s Pro receiving card, load capacity is reduced.
The controller supports low latency without reducing load capacity. Latency is 0 frames (less than 1 ms) in SendOnly controller working mode and 1 frame in All-In-One Controller working mode. Additional latency options are available: zero to two frames of latency can be added at the controller.
NOTE: Low latency cannot be used with the Genlock feature.
For optimal display quality in various scenarios, users can adjust display parameters such as layers, brightness, color temperature, and gamma ahead of time and save them as presets. Users can save up to 128 customizable presets, which can be easily applied or switched with just one click.
There is no rectangle restriction for irregular screens. When calculating resolutions, blank pixels do not count towards the total capacity. The used load capacity of Ethernet ports is the sum of the pixels of all cabinets.
The MX40 Pro automatically adapts to video inputs with different frame rates ranging from 23.98 to 240, and supports the automatic calculation of optimal screen parameters based on the input source's frame rate. This ensures that the brightness deviation of the screen remains within 5% across different frame rates, and it also supports precise frame rate adjustment in 0.01 Hz increments.
Note: This function requires pairing with the A10s Pro receiving card.
The MX40 Pro automatically adjusts the driver IC parameters according to a source camera's shutter angle to fix issues such as black lines, grayscale addition, and grayscale loss during shooting in xR scenarios.
