Product highlights and buying context
The Televic Unite RP-T is a compact, feature-rich digital bodypack receiver designed for tour-guide, assistive-listening, and intercom applications where clarity, accessibility, and flexibility are essential. It shares all the core functions of the Unite RP—including an OLED display, USB-C port for audio and charging, 3.5mm mini-jack output, and integrated Li-ion battery—but adds an integrated microphone and dedicated talkback button for true two-way communication. When used with a compatible headset, participants can ask questions or join the conversation within the same group, making it ideal for interactive guided tours, multilingual interpretation, or staff coordination.
The Unite RP-T operates as part of Televic's modular Unite digital wireless communication system. It works seamlessly with the Unite TP bodypack transmitter, Unite TH handheld transmitter, and Unite AP access point (when used for networked applications). This compatibility enables flexible setups for both one-way and two-way operation across guided tours, conferences, and intercom environments. Up to 32 groups can operate in parallel, and within a single group, as many as three participants can speak simultaneously using the talkback function. All Unite devices are available in region-specific DECT frequency versions (EU, NA, JP), so receivers and transmitters must match their respective region for reliable operation. This version is designed for use in North America and operates in the 1920 to 1930 MHz range.
Built on DECT digital technology for worldwide, license-free use, the Unite RP-T delivers stable, interference-free audio transmission with AES-256 encryption for secure communication. Raised control symbols and braille labeling on the talkback button ensure inclusive accessibility, allowing all users to operate confidently in any environment.
The unit's OLED display provides a bright, easy-to-read view of channel, battery status, and menu navigation. The 3.5mm mini-jack supports headphones, headsets, or induction loops for hearing-aid compatibility, and the connected cable doubles as an antenna for maximum comfort. Users can attach the RP-T to clothing with the included belt clip or wear it using the removable neck strap. A long-lasting lithium-ion battery powers the receiver for over 15 hours of continuous operation, while USB-C enables fast charging and digital audio connectivity.
