The SymplyPRO SAS LTO-9 Desktop Tape Drive from Symply is a compact, high capacity solution for backup and archiving applications. Its desktop form factor features a half-height LTO-9 tape drive that supports a native capacity of 18TB and read/write speeds of up to 300 MB/s. Or, take advantage of 2.5:1 compression, which allows LTO-9 tapes to store up to 45TB with read/write speeds of up to 700 MB/s. System connectivity is established using a 12 Gb/s SFF-8644 interface and an included SFF-8644 to SF-8644 cable. Also supported is 256-bit encryption, WORM media, and backward compatibility with LTO-8.

It is available with an LTO-9 half-height tape drive that is backward compatible with LTO-8.

This tape drive supports a raw capacity of 18TB and a compressed capacity of 45TB per LTO-9 cartridge.

Mount tapes like a removable drive for simple copy/move and interchange without heavy backup software.

Compatible with Veeam, Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, IBM Spectrum Protect, Arcserve, Archiware P5, Retrospect, Hedge Canister, YoYotta, Bacula, and Bareos.

AES 256-bit hardware encryption (app-managed keys) and LTO WORM media support for nonerasable, nonrewritable retention.
