Stedman Proscreen XL V2 Pop Filter

Designed for serious studio use, the Stedman Proscreen XL V2 Pop Filter features an advanced design that yields excellent plosive control while maintaining high durability. In addition to the Proscreen XL V2 being highly effective at blocking obtrusive vocal sounds such as popping Ps and Bs, it boasts a strong clamp that won't scratch your stand.

The metal filter material offers superior plosive protection over fabric filters while leaving frequencies uncolored. The filter diameter is 6" while the gooseneck is 16.5" long. The flexible gooseneck is covered in a heavy-duty vinyl shrink material for protection and minimal noise when making adjustments, and both the filter and clamp are finished in a rugged powder coating to last a lifetime of recording session.

Metal vs Fabric

The Proscreen XL V2 uses a metal pop filter, rather than the more common fabric material used in many filters. This has the advantage of redirecting airflow downward and away from the microphone capsule instead of simply diffusing sound bursts like fabric filters do. Even very close vocal work will not allow popping or plosives (such as P and B sounds) to reach the mic, and the large openings in the metal screen allow vocal sounds to pass through unobstructed and uncolored, preserving critical detail.

Durable and Reliable

The Proscreen XL V2 filter material and high-strength metal alloy clamp are finished with a durable powder coating that is designed to last through a lifetime of recording sessions and comes with the Stedman lifetime warranty. Rugged and flexible, this pop filter is able to perform as expected for as long as you need. * Heavy-duty vinyl shrink material keeps flexible gooseneck protected and adjustments quiet * Ultrafine rubber surround does not interfere with vocal recording sound quality * High-quality universal clamp with soft rubber pads attaches to any style boom arm up to 1.5" wide * Durable powder coating on clamp and filter material
