Product highlights and buying context
With improved features that expand upon its content-creation-focused predecessor, the Sony ZV-E10 II is outfitted with a 26MP APS-C sensor for faster performance and high-quality imagery in a compact form factor designed for vloggers. This aligns the ZV-E10 II with tried and true models such as the FX30 and the a6700. Built-in creative shooting modes, a 3-capsule directional microphone, and a 3" articulating LCD touchscreen with vertical orientation support and integrated tally light make for a powerful multi-purpose vlogging device. Other notable upgrades with the ZV-E10 II include a 759-point phase detection autofocus system, Cinematic Vlog mode, and compatibility with larger-capacity NP-FZ100 batteries. This version of the camera includes a 16-50mm lens.
Designed for APS-C mirrorless camera sensors, the black E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II lens offers a versatile full-frame equivalent zoom angle of 24-75mm within a compact design. A variable aperture of f/3.5 to 5.6 helps keep the lens's size and weight to a minimum while accommodating most use cases. When the camera is powered off, the lens retracts to just 1.25".
Quick autofocusing and improved Optical SteadyShot image stabilization counteract handheld camera shake for sharper imagery. Four aspherical elements and one Extra-Low Dispersion element ensure high-resolution imagery throughout the zoom range. The lens supports focus pulling while shooting up to 120 fps and autofocus while zooming for intuitive single-person filming with moving subjects.
UHD 4K video recording is possible up to 60p and uses full pixel readout with 5.6K oversampling to yield greater detail with reduced moiré and aliasing. Full HD 1080p recording is also supported in frame rates up to 120 fps, and both resolutions utilize the 600 Mb/s XAVC HS and XAVC S-I formats with 4:2:2 sampling. The camera includes S-Cinetone and S-Log 3 color, which make for better grading control and full utilization of the 14-stop dynamic range. You can also assign LUTs or use the Creative Looks mode to apply preset color effects to your footage while shooting.
In order to accommodate the NP-FZ100 battery, the ZV-E10 II now has a slightly larger body design while still maintaining an overall compact form factor for portability. When using the NP-FZ100 battery, you can now record approximately 610 shots per charge for a 30% increase over the previous model. Power can also be supplied to the camera through the USB-C port or by using the optional power adapter.
An ideal complement to many kit zooms, the black E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS Lens from Sony opens the door to many telephoto perspectives with its 82.5-315mm equivalent focal length range on APS-C-format E-mount cameras. This portrait-length to mid-tele reach is ideal for a range of subjects, from portraits to distant sports and landscapes, and its sleek size also makes it a great travel companion.
The Hunter 25 DSLR Holster Bag from Ruggard is slightly larger than the Hunter 15 and holds your DSLR with lens attached, face down, in shooting position. When you're ready to shoot, simply remove your camera, get the shot and replace your camera in the bag. The zippered top of the bag opens away from your body for fast access to your gear. This also serves as a security feature since no one but you will be able to see inside the bag.
The bag has a water-repellent exterior and smooth polyester lining that helps prevent scratches to the finish of your camera/lens combo. Inside, there are two removable touch fastened strips that can be configured to support your gear.
