Innovative digital control ensures precise voltages to the front and rear of the capsule.
The Saturn 2 boasts Sontronics' signature smooth roll off in the high frequencies and provides a high sensitivity, extremely low self noise, and premium, British-made Class-A components for a precise and transparent sound with a flat frequency response across its wide 20 Hz to 20 kHz bandwidth. The versatility of the Saturn 2 and its high max SPL make it optimal on a wide range of sources, including vocals, guitars, amps, drums, piano, strings, and whole ensembles. A switchable -10 or -20 dB pad is available. The mic also provides a selectable 75 or 125 Hz low-cut filter for eliminating unwanted rumbles. This microphone is designed, developed, and built in the UK. The Saturn 2 includes a shockmount and an ABS flight case.
