SLR Magic MicroPrime CINE 17mm T1.5 Lens for APS-C/S35 (Sony E)

The SLR Magic MicroPrime CINE 17mm T1.5 Lens provides cine-style capture for Sony E-mount cameras with APS-C/S35 sensors. Weighing just over a pound, this wider prime lens features a fast T1.5 maximum aperture for producing a shallow depth of field, 0.8 MOD-geared focus and aperture rings, a clickless iris that enables smooth aperture pulls, and an 11-blade iris for smooth, rounded bokeh.

Fast, Cine-Ready Optics

• The fast T1.5 maximum aperture provides excellent low-light performance and a shallow depth of field.
• The 11-blade iris features a rounded aperture for pleasing bokeh effects.

Consistent Series Design

• Each lens in the MicroPrime Cine series features a similar size and weight with consistent lens gear positions for rapid lens changes and easier re-balancing when changing lenses on a gimbal.
• The front of the lens does not rotate as you focus, enabling the use of optional polarizing filters or accessories such as clip-on matte boxes.
• Consistent focus and iris gear placement enable quick matte box and follow focus alignment.

Smooth Adjustment

• The clickless iris allows you to smoothly adjust your exposure during the shot.
