This Wave 100i GoTo Strain Wave Mount with Steel Tripod and Extension Kit from Sky-Watcher includes a compact, GoTo mount with the ideal support platform—simply attach your optical tube assembly and you're ready for observation and astrophotography. The mount can be used in alt-azimuth or equatorial mode, and its harmonic design makes it strong, compact, and precise. The tripod has sturdy 2" steel legs, and the tripod extension pier prevents your OTA from getting tangled up with the legs.

Utilizing precise, no-backlash, high-torque strain wave gearing, the Sky-Watcher Wave 100i GoTo Strain Wave Mount is a compact but highly capable motorized GoTo mount for your optical tube assembly. The mount weighs just 9.5 pounds but can support a 22-pound payload with no counterweight and 33 pounds with optional counterweights. It is controlled by Sky-Watcher's popular SynScan GoTo hand controller or app on a paired device and is compatible with other controllers such as ASIAir, Eagle, and StellarMate.

The mount holds optical tubes of all sizes on two D/V saddles and operates in alt-azimuth or equatorial tracking modes with RA and Dec home positions and a 0-90° latitude range. A red backlit latitude display and bubble level make setup easier, and an RA brake prevents backsliding if the power goes out.

The Wave 100i comes standard with a secondary saddle that mounts over the counterweight port allowing users to mount up to 22 pounds of equipment on each saddle in Alt-Az mode.

Track satellites and space stations with the Wave's swift slew rate of 10° per second and the downloadable Satellite Tracker Application for Windows PC found on Sky-Watcher's International Support website.

Built to support Sky-Watcher Wave series mounts, the EQ6 to Wave Steel Tripod offers a stable platform for astronomical observation. The tripod has sturdy 2" diameter steel legs and a working height of 28-48". The Pier Adapter #S30916 is required to use this tripod with Wave mounts, but it can be used as is with NEQ6, EQ6, EQ6-R, and AZ-EQ6 mounts.
