The Tripod System Plus and OB 2000 from Sachtler pairs the Plus fluid head with the heavy-duty, single-stage OB 2000 aluminum tripod with mid-level spreader. This system offers stable support for large camera rigs weighing up to 187 lb. Features include frictionless fluid drag, 24-step counterbalance with boost, a wedge camera plate, and a 36.2 to 59" height adjustment range.

The Sachtler OB-2000 Aluminum Tripod Legs (Flat Base and Mitchell) with Mid-Level Spreader is the tripod for heavy cameras. The single stage, heavy duty, dural aluminum, flat base tripod has a built-in stabilizer, which can hold a hand crank column and lock it into place. Rotating rubber feet are built into the tripod legs. The built-in bubble and tripod leg scaling provide simple and precise leveling. The OB 2000 supports all common flat base heads, including Mitchell video fittings, which do not require an adapter. With a tube diameter of 35mm / 1.4", it enables the OB 2000 to take a load capacity up to 140 kg / 309 lb.

The Plus Studioboasts a outstanding payload range of 12 to 85 kg / 25 to 190 lb. Suitable for a variety of camera configurations and flexible applications in both EFP and studio operation, this all-round talent offers users a broad palette of solutions.

The Plus Studio displays an 24 step plus Boost Button counterbalance which can be adjusted easily and safely in 12 stages with the well known Sachtler dial. Fine-tuning is achieved via a half step function, which can either be engaged or disengaged. And for even more precise adjustment the balance plate has a sliding range of up to 120mm / 4.7", and up to 145mm / 5.7" for the studio version. This allows you to safely balance the camera at any tilt angle.

The Plus Studio fluid head has a modular design, allowing you to change it for different applications. Various configuration options are available like; 150mm Ball Base with the Touch & Go quick release system and camera plate 35 wedge or Flat Base with the V-shaped wedge plate, or you can even mount it on a Mitchell Mount base.

A prerequisite for perfect pictures is a panning movement without jerks and vibrations. Sachtler's patented damping system takes everything is stride. The individual modules are frictionless and contain no hydraulic oil. This means they are permanently leak proof.

The damping action of heads is identical across both horizontal and vertical planes and offers you nine steps of drag, for smooth camerawork under the toughest of rough conditions. You can completely disengage the drag for fast panning without affecting the dynamic counterbalance system.
