A valuable time-saving solution for film, lighting, and sound crews who need to affix a mic, shockmount, windshield, or lighting accessory to a pole such as a truss, scaffolding, or rigging setup, this Rycote PCS-Utility Kit includes the PCS-Utility quick-release adapter and a small Rycote Half Coupler that fits on poles ranging from 1.3 to 1.4" in diameter.
The PCS-Utility features quality construction with a lightweight and durable aluminum exterior and internal components made from stainless steel and glass-filled nylon. With a secure twist-and-pull release mechanism and a knurled finish on the outside, the PCS-Utility is easy to grip and unlock, even if you're wearing gloves.
The PCS-Utility is made from robust, high-quality materials while being versatile. Milled anodized aluminum on the exterior is lightweight and robust, ensuring durability even in the most challenging conditions. Stainless steel and glass-filled nylon on the internal components enable a grease-free and strong locking mechanism.
Insert and click in the included anodized aluminum 3/8" male tip to connect any accessory with a 3/8" thread for an auto-locking attachment that is completely secure and noise-free in operation. The fitted Hytrel washer increases the tension and ensures a tight fit, reducing the chance of loosening.
To release, the PCS-Utility has a "twist and pull" unlocking mechanism for a safe and secure one-handed operation. The knurled finished of the PCS-Utility offers a firm grip, even with gloves and improves operation in low-light situations.
The PCS-Utility is secure through all weather conditions and offers easy installation with its quick-release/-attach mechanism. An all-round workhorse designed to withstand any environment you throw at it, it is ideal for live events such as live stage productions, sports events, and concerts.
The Half Coupler attaches to trusses, scaffolding poles, and other rigging devices from 1.3 to 1.4" in diameter.

Made from solid steel, the Half Coupler is rugged and tough.
Simply tighten the wing nut to secure the Half Coupler on a pole.
