• ThisTriggerSmart Infra-Red Receiver and Light Intensity Sensor Unit from Quantum Instruments is a dual functioning receiver unit for the TriggerSmart Camera Triggering System.
• This is the same sensor that is included in the TriggerSmart Kit, but can be purchased individually here as a spare or to be used with other sensors for multiple triggering applications.
• This unit acts as an infra-red receiver which registers an IR beam from an IR transmitter.
• When that beam is broken, the camera is triggered to shoot.
• The unit doubles as a Light Intensity Sensor and signals the camera to shoot when a new light is detected.
• Light sensitivity is adjusted by the TriggerSmart Control Unit to which the IR receiver and Light Intensity Sensor is connected via a sensor cable.
• The unit includes a 2º baffle to limit inconsequential light changes.
