QNAP TS-464U-RP 4-Bay NAS Enclosure

The TS-464U-RP 4-Bay NAS Enclosure from QNAP features two 2.5GbE RJ45 ports and Port Trunking for up to 5 Gb/s of combined bandwidth. The built-in 4K HDMI output allows for multimedia and virtual machine display, while a PCIe 3.0 x2 slot lets you extend NAS functionality with a 10GbE/5GbE network card, QM2 card for M.2 SSD caching, or Edge TPU for AI image recognition. The TS-464U-RP also supports AES 256-bit encryption to help ensure the confidentiality of sensitive business data without affecting system performance.

The TS-464U-RP is powered by a 2.0 GHz Intel Celeron Quad-Core processor and 8GB of onboard DDR4 RAM. It supports JBOD and a variety of RAID modes, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, each of which offer data redundancy, speed, or a combination of both. This 4-bay enclosure has the ability to natively house both 3.5" and 2.5" SATA III and SATA II hard drives or SSDs. Using the external 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 480 Mb/s USB 2.0 Type-A, and HDMI 1.4b ports, this QNAP NAS can be connected to other QNAP devices, as well as other external drives and displays.

The TS-464U-RP 4-Bay NAS Enclosure operates on 100-240 VAC at 50-60 Hz using dual redundant 250W power supplies and stays cool using two 40mm fans. It includes an Ethernet cable, two power cords, 48 screws for 3.5" drives, 36 screws for 2.5" drives, and two hangers. Protection is provided by a limited 3-year warranty.

The TS-464U-RP is powered by a 2.0 GHz Intel Celeron Quad-Core processor and 8GB of onboard DDR4 RAM, two 2.5GbE ports, and SATA III 6 Gb/s drives. The integrated Intel AES-NI encryption engine also helps protect confidential data without impacting system performance. Using one 2.5GbE port, download speeds reach up to 194 MB/s, while upload speeds max out at 230 MB/s. When using one 2.5GbE port with encryption, download speeds deliver a throughput of up to 253 MB/s, while upload speeds slightly drop to 225 MB/s.

The TS-464U-RP comes with two 2.5GbE RJ45 (2.5G/1G/100M) LAN ports that allow you to use existing Cat 5e cables to upgrade network speeds from 1GbE to 2.5GbE. The dual 2.5GbE ports also support Port Trunking for up to 5 Gb/s transmission speeds, improving the efficiency of bandwidth-hungry business applications such as large file transfers, fast backup/restore, and multimedia transfer & editing.
