Product highlights and buying context
Effortlessly create edge storage, enjoy intelligent file management, secure backups, and seamless Docker container applications with the TS-433eU 4-Bay NAS Enclosure from QNAP is a 1 RU rackmount NAS with a short depth design that is suitable for compact spaces. The TS-431XeU is powered by a 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 4-Core CPU processor and 4GB of onboard RAM. Network connectivity is achieved using the two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports which offers trunking. There is also support for JBOD, single disk, and a variety of RAID modes, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, each of which offers data redundancy, speed, or a combination of both.
This 4-bay enclosure has the ability to natively house both 3.5 and 2.5" SATA III hard drives or SSD drives, and screws are included that accommodate each drive size. Using one 2.5GbE port, the TS-433eU can deliver read speeds of up to 282 MB/s and write speeds of up to 288 MB/s. Using the two external USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, this QNAP NAS can be connected to other devices, such as QNAP expansion units. The integrated AES 256-bit encryption helps to prevent sensitive business data from unauthorized access and breaches.
QNAP's TS-433eU 4-Bay NAS Enclosure operates using a 60W power supply that runs using 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz. Included is an Ethernet cable, a power cord, 3.5" HDD flat head screws, 2.5" HDD flat head screws, two handles, two angle brackets, and eight screws. Protection is provided by a limited 3-year warranty.
The TS-433eU has a shorter chassis depth of only 11.51", making it easy to install in various space-limited environments, including factories, small offices, audiovisual rooms, or surveillance rooms, offering flexibility and maximized space utilization.
Users can purchase the optional Rail-S01 short rail kit to deploy the TS-433eU in a 19" rack following the ANSI/EIA-RS-310-D standard. Installing in a normal rack cabinet requires the QNAP Rail-B02 rail kit.
