The TS-432XeU is powered by a 1.7 GHz ARM Cortex-A57 Quad-Core processor and 4GB of DDR4 RAM, which can be upgraded to 16GB. This NAS also supports JBOD, Single, and a variety of RAID modes, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, each of which offer data redundancy, speed, or a combination of both.
This 4-bay enclosure has the ability to natively house both 3.5" and 2.5" SATA III and SATA II hard drives or SSDs, which can read speeds of up to 1181 MB/s and write speeds of up to 859 MB/s. Using the external 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, this QNAP NAS can be connected to QNAP USB JBODs, external HDDs/SSDs, or flash drives for data backup, import, or cold storage, while network connectivity is achieved using one 10GbE SFP+ port or two 2.5GbE RJ45 ports.
The TS-435XeU 4-Bay NAS Enclosure operates on 100-240 VAC at 50-60 Hz using a 100W power supply and stays cool using three 40mm fans. It includes an Ethernet cable, a power cord, sixteen screws for 3.5" drives, twelve screws for 2.5" drives, two hangers, and two holders. Protection is provided by a limited 3-year warranty.
The TS-432XeU features a short 12" chassis, allowing easy installation in small cabinets and space constrained environments such as factories, small offices, security monitoring rooms, media studios, or in-vehicle setups, offering versatile placement without taking up valuable space.
