Product highlights and buying context
The Flexus Cat 6 Patch Cable from Pearstone offers wiring options without the need for specifically angled cables in environments such as large network installations, broadcast studios, and data centers where ports are close together and need to be routed in many different directions. Its form factor helps save space, while also improving airflow through crowded patch bays and machine racks. Also featured is a bendable, molded PVC boot that keeps its angle once it's shaped to your needs.
Built with dual gold-plated male RJ45 connectors, this cable supports Gigabit and 10Gb transfers up to 500 MHz and Power over Ethernet (PoE) up to 15.4W, allowing users to operate surveillance cameras, VoIP phones, and more without the need for a dedicated power outlet. Furthermore, bare copper conductors are tightly twisted into four isolated pairs to help minimize interference and crosstalk.
Ideal for use in high density racks and office setups, the Flexus cable features a unique flexible boot that will bend in any direction and keep its shape. Bend the cable to any angle you need to keep clutter at a minimum. This is a perfect design for conserving space in multi-port patch bays that can get overcrowded with traditional straight and right-angle connectors.
Ultra-thin insulated bare copper stranded conductors allow you to flex the cable as needed for easy routing while conserving room in tight spaces.
The Flexus Cat 6 cable is capable of 10 Gb/s data transfers and a 500 MHz transmission speed, which is perfect for connecting to a 10-Gigabit network. Upgrading to Cat 6 Flexus patch cables will future proof your network for increasing transmission speeds.
Gold plating enhances conductivity and assures the fastest possible data transmission speeds. Gold connectors are also noncorrosive for long cable life.
Bare copper conductors are tightly twisted to minimize RF and EM interference and near-end crosstalk that can slow down the speed of your network.
