Enhance your Mac Studio or Mac mini with the fast, high-capacity, and stackable 26TB StudioStack Thunderbolt 5 Storage Hub from OWC / Other World Computing. Designed to edit 8K video, run AI models, and access files with speeds of up to 6302 MB/s, the StudioStack is preformatted APFS/HFS+ for Mac and features one M.2 2280 slot preinstalled with a 2TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD and one 2.5/3.5" drive bay preinstalled with a 24TB 7200 rpm SATA III 3.5" hard drive. The temperature-controlled, variable-speed cooling fan prevents overheating, while a Kensington Lock slot ensures security.

The StudioStack connects to your host system using an 80 Gb/s Thunderbolt 5 port that also supports a display bandwidth of up to 120 Gb/s. Other integrated ports include three Thunderbolt 5 ports and three 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2/3.1) ports that are backward compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1/3.0) and USB 2.0. Also featured is 60W of power delivery, power/activity LEDs, and compatibility with Windows, Mac, iPad, Linux, and ChromeOS operating systems.

If you don't have a system that supports Thunderbolt 5, the StudioStack will work with Thunderbolt 4/USB4 at speeds up to 3200 MB/s and with Thunderbolt 3 (Mac only) at speeds up to 2800 MB/s.

Pump up your Mac Studio or Mac mini with a fast and high-capacity stackable hybrid storage innovation. Now you can flex your true form with increased storage capacity, data transfer speeds of up to 6302 MB/s that rival the latest Mac Studio models, and a six-port Thunderbolt 5/USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 hub for additional connectivity possibilities. Show off all that jacked-up brawn in a buff, aircraft-grade aluminum design that nestles perfectly on top or underneath your Mac.

Powered by advanced Thunderbolt 5 technology, you can use StudioStack to keep pace with the latest Mac Studio computers' internal storage speed:

• OWC StudioStack - up to 6302 MB/s
• Mac Studio 2025 (M4 Max, 512GB) - up to 4084 MB/s
• Mac Studio 2025 (M4 Max, 1TB+) - 6204 MB/s

• Thunderbolt 3 host (Mac only) - up to 2800 MB/s
• USB4 host - up to 3200 MB/s

Designed to match the sleek physique of the Mac Studio, this mass gainer redefines how to crush storage, connectivity, and display needs by delivering supersized gains in every byte. StudioStack is ideal for:

• Creative professionals with photo/video/CGI/audio workflows that can take advantage of a dual-drive hybrid storage solution. NVMe SSDs deliver ultra-fast performance for seamless editing, compositing work, and cached 3D simulations, while SATA HDDs provide large amounts of storage for Lightroom libraries, media files, 3D assets, archival footage, inactive projects, and project/file backups.
• General users seeking to expand their Mac Studio storage and connectivity capabilities while matching the performance and design of their machine.
• AI engineers and data scientists that need fast storage and large capacity to store and run large LLMs with ease and greatly expand the non-upgradeable storage existing in their Mac Studio.
• Anyone wanting to add several Thunderbolt displays to a Mac Studio and expand the machine's built-in storage.

Engineered to support an NVMe M.2 2280 SSD and a 3.5" SATA hard drive, this compact powerhouse gives you the ultimate flexibility to choose the drive configuration you want today, including blazing fast and highly reliable OWC Aura SSDs with up to an 8TB capacity. When tomorrow's 16TB and larger NVMe SSDs hit the scene, you can easily boost your StudioStack's capacity.

With StudioStack's three Thunderbolt 5 and three 10 Gb/s USB-A ports, you'll lift the connectivity limit of your Mac mini M1/M2 machine to a new PR. You'll also love how easy and fast the two side-located USB-A ports make plugging in flash drives, card readers, and other frequently used devices instead of blindly fumbling around behind your machine.

Accessing your StudioStack Mac-formatted volumes on a Windows PC is remarkably easy with the addition of OWC MacDrive. This seamless software (sold separately) runs in the background, so there's nothing to launch or learn. Just connect the StudioStack, and not only do you have instant read access, but full write access too. MacDrive also includes powerful features that enable you to format and partition drives as well as repair basic disk issues.

OWC products are loved around the world for their It Just Works ease-of-use and reliability. StudioStack solutions come pre-formatted (APFS/HFS+) so they're ready to plug into your Mac Studio or Mac mini and pump you up with power. Don't fret if you're a PC user, OWC's free Drive Guide helps you easily reformat for Windows in seconds.
