Product highlights and buying context
Enjoy hassle- and maintenance-free operation with the Optoma Technology DuraCore ZK420UST 4200-Lumen 4K Ultra Short-Throw Laser DLP Projector. With features like 4K HDR support, 360° installation, 24/7 operation, and integrated monitoring and control capability, the ZK420UST delivers reliable performance for meeting rooms, classrooms, immersive installations, and more.
Optoma DLP projectors provide CTA (Consumer Technology Association) approved True 4K UHD resolution, capable of projecting 8.3 million on-screen pixels. That's four times more detail than Full HD and twice as many from competing LCD technology, which only delivers 4.1 million pixels. Additionally, this projector is capable of receiving and displaying both HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) HDR content.
Optoma's DuraCore technology implements advanced laser diode cooling techniques and an innovative dust resistant design. Consistent brightness is achieved through increased efficiency, for performance that can last up to 30,000 hours. In addition to longer and more even performance, the perceived brightness from laser illumination projectors can be twice that of an equivalent lamp-based model.
With an ultra short-throw lens, you can project an impressive image greater than 100” from less than two feet away from the projection surface. This allows you to place the projector closer to the wall, reducing shadows so you can present with ease, making it well suited for interactive applications.
Uncompressed Full HD video, audio, network, and control commands all delivered on a single CAT-type cable capable up to 328 feet without signal loss makes installation hassle-free. HDBaseT simplifies cabling requirements and reduces installation complexity saving both time and reducing costs.
Businesses can have confidence in the ability of their IT managers to provide remote support with the Optoma Management Suite (OMS) solution. It allows you to easily monitor and diagnose issues related to any Optoma AV display, ensuring employees are not left without assistance. For an extra layer of readiness, companies can also set alerts and broadcast emergency announcements.
In addition to OMS capability, this projector features a wide range of options for controlling and monitoring the projector remotely. Optoma projectors come with an extensive set of RS232 commands making it simple and easy to manage using any control system. Furthermore, protocols are incorporated for AMX, Crestron Roomview, and Extron IPLink.
Four corner correction enables the keystone of the projector to be adjusted in both the vertical and horizontal plane, so you can individually warp each corner of the projected image to make it perfectly square. Ideal for uneven walls or in spaces where the projector placement is awkward or limited and needs to be installed at an angle.
With 360° projection, images can be displayed in any orientation, giving you the freedom and versatility to install this projector in the desired location.
Optoma projectors have been designed to operate 24 hours a day in standard orientation. Perfect for applications where prolonged periods of use are required. Subject to 24-hour terms and conditions. The warranty is based on usage hours.
For optimum performance, Optoma recommends that your projector is turned off or placed in standby mode for 30 minutes every 24 hours to prolong the life of your lamp.
Optoma Technology is committed to reducing the overall environmental footprint of their products. Considering every phase of a product's lifecycle, from design, manufacturing, packaging, and logistics, to usage, with sustainability in mind.
