Product highlights and buying context
Designed for creatives looking for high-speed performance, the 160GB NX-A2PRO CFexpress 4.0 Type A Memory Card from Nextorage provides maximum read speeds of 1950 MB/s, maximum write speeds of 1900 MB/s, and sustained write speeds of 1900 MB/s. Furthermore, thanks to the VPG-800 standard, write speeds are guaranteed not to drop below 800 MB/s. This card supports PCIe 4.0 but may also be used with CFexpress 2.0 and VPG-400 devices, which guarantees minimum write speeds of 400 MB/s.
Built for extreme conditions, this card is resistant to temperatures ranging from 10 to 161°F, shock, x-rays, UV rays, magnets, and electrostatic. It also offers Dynamic Auto Power Save, which helps reduce power consumption by up to 89%, which helps preserve your camera's battery life as well as maintain the card's sustained write speed to prevent thermal throttling.
This card supports the VPG-800 standard, which delivers write speeds that are guaranteed to not drop below 800 MB/s.
With a maximum write speed of 1900 MB/s, the NX-A2PRO has the specifications essential for professionals who capture the moment. Its high-speed write performance minimizes the time the camera buffer is open, allowing you to capture the moment you are looking for.
Compatible with CFexpress 2.0 and Supports VPG-400
This card retains compatibility with CFexpress 2.0, making it compatible with VPG-400, which guarantees write speeds that won't drop below 400 MB/s and allows for stable video recording, even in professional use cases with high bit-rate video.
The NX-A2PRO series offers the high-speed performance of CFexpress 4.0, with maximum read speeds of 1950 MB/s and, in combination with the NX-SA1PRO, a 40 Gb/s USB4 card reader, enables rapid data transfers. It can be an indispensable item for time-sensitive professionals.
The NX-A2PRO series is equipped with Nextorage's Dynamic Auto Power Save low power consumption technology. It effectively suppresses power consumption during high-speed continuous shooting, video recording, and the rise in temperature of the card itself. Compared to models without this function, power consumption is reduced by up to 89%, and thermal throttling is suppressed to enable stable, long-time shooting.
