Neumann KH 80 DSP 4" + 1" Active 2-Way Studio Monitor Kit (Gray)

Designed for near-field monitoring applications, thisB&H Kitcombines two Neumann KH 80 DSP 4" Active 2-Way Studio Monitors with a pair of speaker stands and two XLR mic cables. The speakers feature a 4" woofer and 1" tweeter with 190W bi-amped.

The gray Neumann KH 80 DSP is a 2-way active studio monitor well suited for near-field monitoring and multichannel setups in music studios, broadcast centers and vans, as well as home studios and desktop audio applications. The KH 80 utilizes two amplifiers (120W and 70W) to power the 4" woofer and 1" tweeter respectively, an onboard DSP engine, a Mathematically Modeled Dispersion waveguide (MMD), an analog input, and an extensive range of optional mounting hardware. The DSP function is accessed via a standard IP network connection that allows the monitoring system to be controlled using the Neumann.Control app, which runs on a Windows/Mac computer or iOS/Android tablet. With the use of the latest acoustic and electronic simulation and measurement technologies, the KH 80 can be used in diverse acoustical conditions with any source equipment and in a wide variety of physical locations, ensuring accurate sound reproduction.

The AurayLMS-335 Studio Monitor Stands are durably constructed and designed to support studio monitors at the optimal listening position in professional and home recording studios.

Each stand is constructed from steel tubing and a 9" steel plate. An ergonomic locking knob secures the stand, and a locking pin is inserted into six predrilled holes to allow the height of each monitor to be adjusted between 35 and 58.5".

The three-leg design has a base spread of 23" for stability and a geometry that allows the stand to fit in corners and beside studio furniture. They come with interchangeable rubber feet for hardwood floors as well as metal spike feet for carpeted floors. The necessary tools and hardware for assembling the stands and changing the feet from rubber pads to metal spikes and vice versa are included. Two touch-fastener straps are included on the central supports for neatly securing cables to the stand.

A cotton-yarn inner layer helps reduce electrostatic and microphonic noise. A 98% braided outer shield makes the cable resistant to EMI and RFI noise. The Neutrik XX silver connectors provide a high level of connectivity, and all the solder connections are shrink-wrapped for protection.

Twin-conductive PVC inner shielding provides 100% coverage of the core conductor. It helps keep the cable's signal from radiating and affecting nearby cables, and also helps prevent external EMI from penetrating to the cable's core.
