Expanding the Q series, Neewer introduces the powerful Q6 TTL Flash Strobe—still portable and compact enough for handheld operation. Featuring an expanded 2.4 GHz wireless system with a range of up to 328', the Q6 is a 600Ws flash strobe compatible not only with the Neewer Q, but also with the Godox X wireless system. This outdoor/studio flash has a 5700K CCT and brings a 30W bi-color LED modeling lamp with a variable range from 2700 to 6500K. In addition, the flash comes with two TFT color screens to facilitate management of settings, as well as color grouping control and app compatibility.
This monolight is made to work with Canon E-TTL II, Nikon i-TTL, Sony TTL, and FUJIFILM TTL automatic flash systems, offering a variety of flash modes. The Q6 runs on a rechargeable lithium battery with a higher 3000mAh capacity, allowing you to fire the strobe up to 400 times at full power before needing to recharge. The real fun happens when you hold the top handle or stand bracket to expand your mobility when using this 7.7 x 7.3 x 6.7" strobe. A carry case is also supplied for storage and transport.
The Q6 features a high-speed sync mode that works with shutter speeds up to 1/8000 second, offering flash durations from 1/209 to 1/10,989 second to capture and freeze peak action. Besides these characteristics, Neewer manages to keep recycling times low at 0.01-0.9 seconds.
Other highlights are improved power output with a 10-stop range from 1/1 to 1/512 and various flash modes that include TTL, M, Multi, and Burst. The Burst mode allows for continuous shooting. Access these flash modes and group settings via the app right from your smartphone. Additionally, a 30W bi-color LED modeling lamp with CRI 95 and TLCI 98 can be used for careful composition or as an alternative fill light for video recording.
The Q6 wireless receiver mode is compatible with Canon, Nikon, Sony, and FUJIFILM. This flash fully supports TTL functions when used with a separately available Neewer 2.4 GHz wireless Q transmitters and QPRO flash triggers. Not only compatible with the Neewer Q system, the Q6 flash also works with the Godox 2.4 GHz X system for compatibility with the separately available XPro, X3, and X2 transmitters. Besides that, it works with the optional Sekonic L-858D light meter. It is important to note that the Neewer Q and Godox X systems cannot be used simultaneously, and the latest firmware is required.
The widely compatible Bowens front accessory mount allows you to connect the monolight to various separately available light modifiers, such as reflectors, softboxes, and snoots. A dedicated hole is also available to insert an optional umbrella.
