The dovetail baseplate attaches to the ZR via a 1/4"-20 screw, supplying quick release compatibility with Arca-type receivers, dual front threads for lens supports, and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 bottom threads for alternate plate attachment. Full access to the battery and memory card slots is maintained, with a dummy battery cable passthrough allowing versatile power options.
Connecting to the baseplate via captive screws, the side grip, NATO side rail, and NATO top rail provide multiple anti-twist 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, as well as additional locking points to the ZR—the side grip with a built-in indexing point and the NATO rail with an insert lock, each bolting to the camera's strap slots to prevent twisting. Allowing the attachment of NATO accessories, the NATO side rail features a cutaway that removes to permit full rotation of the LCD, while the NATO top rail preserves the functionality of the hot shoe and camera controls. The included utility mounting block continues the NATO profile across the top rail and sports a convenient slot for inserting an AirTag.
