The X1-Mini Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone from Movo is a compact and lightweight microphone designed to improve your audio results when shooting with a mobile device or DSLR/mirrorless camera. It features both a digital USB-C output compatible with Android/iOS smartphones and an analog 3.5mm jack for use with cameras, which can also function as a headphone jack when you're using the digital connection.

The mic's electret-condenser capsule has a supercardioid pickup pattern that focuses audio capture on the source directly in front of the mic capsule, rejecting much of the unwanted sound from the sides and rear for clearer sound with less noise and room tone. The X1-Mini offers a 24-bit recording resolution when used with digital devices and sports a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and a -33 dB sensitivity rating. A variety of cables and windscreens are provided, along with a carrying case.

Shockmount with Camera Shoe Mount

The X1-Mini features a durable aluminum build and comes with a Rycote shockmount that reduces vibrations and handling noise for clearer audio. The shockmount features a shoe mount that attaches to your camera shoe or select smartphone adapters for quick and easy recording on the go.

No Battery Required

Powered by the USB-C bus or plug-in power from your camera, the X1-mini requires no battery for operation, keeping it smaller and lighter on your mobile rig.

Accessories Included

In addition to the shockmount /camera mount, the mic comes with a foam windscreen for indoor/outdoor shoots. For breezier outdoor conditions, a furry windshield is provided to help cut wind noise. Three cables are provided: a USB-C cable for mobile devices, a TRRS cable for smartphones with a 3.5mm input jack, and a TRS cable for use with cameras. Everything fits into the included zippered carrying case, so you can go anywhere the action takes you.
