marian DIGITAL AUDIO ELECTRONICS Clara A 16-Channel Analog PCIe Sound Card (1/4" TRS I/O)

Designed for high-fidelity audio recording and playback, the marian DIGITAL AUDIO ELECTRONICS Clara A TRS is a professional-grade PCIe sound card that delivers pristine sound quality with 16 audio channels in a compact, one-slot PCIe width. It features eight balanced analog 1/4" TRS I/O (16 channels), high-end 24-bit / 192 kHz converters, an ultraprecise clock, and powerful Beast DSP mixer for latency-free mixing and EQ processing, making it an ideal solution for studios and installations requiring reliability and uncompromising audio performance.

The card comes with a 16-channel analog I/O breakout cable equipped with 1/4" TRS connectors.

• With 113 dBA SNR and a THD+N of -104.5 dB, the Clara A delivers premium audio quality.
• A hefty level of +15 dBu provides enough headroom at the inputs and sufficient signal at the outputs for any connected device.
• AD/DA is 24-bit and 192 kHz throughout, with no restrictions on the number of channels.

The Beast DSP Mixer offers latency-free volume control and routing of all input signals, along with advanced mixing and playback capabilities:

• Mix up to 64 signals across 8 buses.
• Route playback signals from any DAW.
• Record mix sums back into an application.
• Use the 4-band parametric EQ per channel for precise tonal shaping.

• With less than 1 ns jitter, the Clara A’s internal clock provides superior synchronization—often outperforming external studio clocks. This ensures ultralow-jitter performance, making external clocking unnecessary in many setups.

• Multiple Clara sound cards installed in a single system can be synchronized via TDM SyncBus, appearing as a single unified ASIO device.
• This enables direct intercard audio signal exchange within the Beast Mixer, supporting up to 32 interconnected audio streams.

Marian’s continuously refined driver supports:

• ASIO 2.2 and multichannel low-latency WDM audio / WASAPI.
• Simultaneous access by multiple applications.
