The Lynx Studio Technology Aurora(_n_)LYN-AN08M24D16-USBis preconfigured with 8 analog inputs and 8 analog outputs on DB-25 connectors, plus an LM-A24 analog module that not only provides two line-level analog inputs and four line-level analog outputs, but also brings an additional two channels of A/D conversion and four channels of D/A conversion. It features a preinstalled LM-DIG module providing 16 channels of digital I/O in the AES/EBU format, and it is equipped with a Lynx LT-USB USB-B LSlot interface card, great for quick-connect and portable applications.

The Aurora(_n_) LYN-AN08M24D16-USB is a mastering-grade 8-in / 8-out AD/DA converter, which supports up to 24-bit / 192 kHz conversion. Design and technology borrowed from the development of Hilo converters is used to significantly improve specifications and transparency over previous models, while attaining stunning Hilo-like performance. • The included LM-DIG module provides 16 channels in and 16 channels out of 24-bit AES/EBU, with bit-perfect transmission at sample rates of up to 192 kHz.

• The LT-USB card provides digital input and output to Windows and Mac computers using USB 2.0 ports.
• The LT-USB allows up to 16 input and output channels at up to 96 kHz, and 8 channels at 192 kHz.

• The analog signal path for each channel has been designed as a self-contained and shielded circuit. Each channel pair has its own dedicated conversion device. This offers many sonic advantages like significantly reducing crosstalk and distortion, while increasing dynamic range and performance.

• Proprietary, SynchroLock 2 high-performance sample-clock technology provides a whopping 300,000:1 reduction in jitter, 5-second lock time, and absolute accuracy.
