Product highlights and buying context
Ergonomically designed, the Ranger LS-365CX Carbon Fiber Tripod with PG-1 Gimbal Head from Leofoto features three angle stops for easy one-handed operation. Designed with a 3/8"-16 mounting stud and a 1/4"-20 accessory mounting socket on the bottom and the side of the platform, this tripod offers greater versatility and camera mounting options. With a minimum height of 3.15", a maximum height of 60.1", a folded length of 19.3", and weighing only 3.6 pounds, the LS-365CX is compact for easy transportation and offers a range of heights for various shooting environments. Constructed with carbon fiber tubes, the tripod is lightweight yet durable with 5 leg sections and yields a load capacity of 44 pounds. The included PG-1 Gimbal Head, is durably constructed with aluminum and offers a 55.1-pound capacity and is suitable for mounting large telephoto lenses. The tripod and gimbal head includes a removable ballast hook and carrying case for added convenience.
This rugged and versatile 2.2-pound gimbal head supports large, heavy lenses. Constructed from T6061 aluminum, the head is durably built with an independent pan and easy-to-turn knob for quick adjustments. The head uses an Arca-compatible cradle clamp to secure the camera precisely while its fluid movement abilities offer quick camera controls. The gimbal easily holds up to 55 lb of equipment that can rotate a full 360° and uses an integrated bubble level to precisely place and balance the camera.
Durably constructed, the tripod's T6061 aluminum parts are CNC-machined and hard-anodized to protect the exterior surface against scratching and scuffing. Easily extend the tripod's legs with a quarter turn using the twist leg lock system. Using the three variable leg angles, the tripod's legs can be completely splayed out to support gear at a very low minimum height.
Using angle stop technology, the tripod can be easily adjusted with one hand to quickly recompose the camera. The tripod features three angle stops, 23, 55, and 85°, for simple and consistent use.
