Kolari Vision Infrared Magnetic Clip-In Filter for Sony E-Mount Full Frame Cameras (720nm)

Featuring an aluminum frame with small built-in magnets, the 720nm Infrared Magnetic Clip-In Filter for Sony E from Kolari Vision secures magnetically to the camera mount, and your lens then mounts on top. The filter sits securely between the camera and lens. It's compatible with full frame Sony E-mount cameras.

Unlike the 590nm and 665nm versions of this Kolari filter, this 720nm version does not require a full spectrum modification to be made to your camera, but only as long as you use the camera mounted on a tripod and set long exposures. Otherwise, a full spectrum modification is required. That entails removing the camera's low-pass filter and replacing it with a clear filter. Once that's done, this 720nm filter will work as intended to block visible light up to 720nm from the light spectrum. (Kolari Vision can make the modification for you at a cost if you send in your camera to them.) The filter material is glass. A small removal tool is included but not required. The compact tool looks like a guitar pick and is included just in case, as the filter can easily be removed by hand.
