With a 16" parabolic dish that won't obstruct the sports fans' view and weighing just 3 lb, the MiK 16K-B excels in mobility. It is compatible with lavalier mics up to 0.3" / 8mm in diameter and small-diaphragm microphone 0.75 to 0.87" / 1.9 to 2.2cm in diameter. Engineered for tough conditions, the MiK 16K-B is constructed of carbon fiber reinforced with continuous Kevlar fibers, which greatly enhance the strength and durability of the components. While the MiK 16K-B is a staple in the broadcast industry, it is also ideal for security applications where discreet audio capture is needed.
