Made from lightweight aluminum alloy, it prevents rear, side, and overhead light from entering the lens to maintain accurate exposures. It features a matte interior finish to minimize flares and glare from reflections and soft EVA padding to protect the contact area from scratches. The hood attaches to the lens using the included 37mm adapter ring, and it accommodates JJC F-XHFUV magnetic filters for easy customization.
