Product highlights and buying context
Power through multi-threaded tasks with high end, multi-GPU compute power with the Z4 G6i Tower Workstation from HP, which allows you to tackle complex workflows, from rendering and simulation to advanced video editing and massive dataset preparation. Using HP Z Boost, you'll be able to share access to idle GPUs, maximizing utilization and ROI. The system is powered by a 2.7 GHz Intel Xeon 634 12-Core processor with 48MB of cache memory, while 32GB of 5600 MHz DDR5 ECC Registered RAM comes in a 2 x 16GB configuration and may be upgraded to 512GB by installing a 64GB module in each of the eight 288-pin DIMM slots.
For storage of your files, this system is equipped with a 1TB PCIe 5.0 x4 SSD with an M.2 2280 form factor. If you want to add external peripherals, the Z4 G6i features one 10 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port and nine 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports (four front and five rear). For users who wish to add additional components to the drive bays, the Z4 G6i features three PCIe 5.0 x4 slots, one internal 3.5" drive bay, one external 5.25" drive bay, and one front NVMe connector for a removable M.2/U.2 carrier. The dedicated NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell graphics card has 16GB of GDDR7 RAM and delivers a sharp, clear picture, while allowing for multiple simultaneous displays to be used via its four mini DisplayPort 2.1b outputs at resolutions up to 7680 x 4320 @ 165 Hz. Network connectivity is achieved using an integrated Gigabit Ethernet port.
The Z4 G6i Tower Workstation includes a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, and a power cord. The installed operating system is Windows 11 Pro for Workstations, which scales up for machines with a high number of logical processors and large amounts of RAM for server-grade hardware and power users.
