The QS400II 3-Light Studio Flash Kit was put together by Godox for photographers who need to take studio-quality lighting on the road. The kit includes three QS400II Flash Heads, each with a light stand. A 31.5 x 39.4" softbox, 40" umbrella, standard reflector, barndoor set, and an XT16 Wireless Trigger with a range of 328' are also provided. A hard, rolling kit case is included for the lights, as well as a bag for the stands.
The light has a built in X receiver and is compatible with the X-16 transmitter, the Xpro transmitter, and the X1 and X2 transmitter. No need for an additional receiver.
With a guide number of 213', the QS400II Flash Head from Godox is a 5600K daylight-balanced flash source with sophisticated core and convenience features at an affordable price point. The head features 0.3-1.5 sec. recycling with flash durations as short as 1/2000 sec. Power is variable from 1/32 to full power, adjustable in 50 steps, while the 150W modeling light has a Proportional mode to aid in light placement and a Percentage mode that adjusts brightness from 5 to 100%. Settings are accessed via rear panel push buttons and displayed on the easy-to-read LCD screen. Triggering options include sync cord, test button, and slave triggering. The QS400II has a built-in 32-channel X1 radio system, making wireless function control possible with separate purchase of the XT16, FT16 or X1 transmitter. The head also has an anti-pre-flash function that makes it easy to work with point-and-shoot and other cameras that employ pre-flash. The QS400II weighs in at 6.0 lb, making it easy to assemble a kit with 2 or more heads without having to lug a heavy case around. The QS400II has a Bowens front accessory mount allowing it to use Godox modifiers as well as accessories from the many manufacturers that use this system. The head has a tilting stand mount and runs on 100 to 120 VAC mains power.
Use TTL wireless trigger X1 as well as power remotes XT16 or FT16 to wirelessly control the head's power, modeling light, triggering, and more. The system has 32 radio channels and 16 groups.
The brain of the Godox wireless power control system, the shoe-mounted XT-16 Wireless Power-Control Flash Trigger and Transmitter 2.4G provides remote triggering as well as up to eight stops of wireless power control for select flashes equipped with the XTR-16 receiver. It features a reliable 2.4 GHz radio system with an impressive range of 328' along with a choice of 16 channels. Users can sync at speeds up to 1/250 second and there are multiple power control settings for working with speedlights or studio flashes. Additionally, it runs on two easy-to-find AA batteries.
This 33" diameter Reflector Umbrella from Godox softens and expands the beam spread of the fixture that it's used with. The white interior reflects a moderate contrast neutral quality of light, while the black exterior prevents light loss through the umbrella.
Ideal for keeping your Gemini GT or GS series lights protected during transport and storage, this CB-06 Wheeled Hard Case from Godox accommodates three lights with accessories. It has inline skate-style wheels and a top pull handle for easily rolling heavy loads on smooth surfaces. For short distances, the dual connecting side straps have a detachable grip to provide comfortable carrying.
