Well suited to photographing sunrises and sunsets, this 2-stop, {size}mm Reverse Hard-Edge Graduated ND Filter from Formatt-Hitech is an ND grad filter with the density of the filter greatest in the middle, tapering off to the edge. By reversing the direction of the standard ND graduated filter, you are able to more accurately control bright horizon lines while retaining exposure in the foreground and sky.

This ND 0.6 filter provides a 2-stop reduction in exposure, and has a hard edge between the density and clear portion of the filter for level, well-defined horizon lines. The filter is constructed from optical resin for both clarity and durability, it measures 1.5mm-thick, and is compatible with Formatt-Hitech 85mm or other Cokin P filter holders.

Reverse graduated filter places the most density in the middle of the filter to accommodate bright horizons and other situations where the brightest part of the image lies in the middle of the composition.

The 0.6 density provides a 2-stop reduction in light in selective areas.

Optical resin construction maintains both image clarity and durability.
