It has a matte design that provides the light diffusion necessary to minimize glare in sunlight. However, while this anti-glare factor allows for better visibility in sunlight, it does reduce clarity by a few percent under normal lighting conditions. If you plan on using your camera indoors more than outdoors, Expert Shield recommends their Crystal Clear version.
