The Evno VLX-W2 combines the specialized VLX microphone with Evno's dual-channel W2 wireless system to deliver high-quality sound in a reliable, rackmount-ready format for violin and viola players. Handcrafted in the USA, this complete wireless system is designed to provide a secure, side-mounted setup with a low-profile microphone, offering maximum gain before feedback and authentic sound reproduction in any performance setting. The W2 dual-channel wireless system offers true flexibility with independent control of two microphones-ideal for players who need expanded wireless setups.

Please note that a second, separately available, transmitter/microphone combination is required to access the second channel on the W2 receiver.

The VLX microphone is engineered to capture the full tonal richness of violin and viola with exceptional clarity and accuracy. Its slim-profile capsule features the smallest suspension head in the Evno lineup, mounted on a right-angle Stay-Flex gooseneck for versatile placement. The precision-machined aluminum body features vented construction and a 7-point O-ring suspension for optimal vibration isolation.

Ideal for soloists, orchestral performers, and ensemble players, the VLX provides high-performance audio capture with a discreet visual footprint. The microphone uses a 3-pin mini-XLR connector, compatible with both wireless and wired systems via optional accessories like the PS95.

The VLX-CL side-mounted clamp offers secure, padded attachment to the body of the violin or viola. The clamp opens from 1.3 to 2" and features dual thumb screws for easy adjustment and mic positioning. Its lightweight, anodized aluminum design allows for fast instrument changes while protecting your instrument from damage.

At the heart of the system is the W2 dual-channel receiver, which supports two microphone transmitters at once. Simply add an additional Evno mic and transmitter combination for compact, dual-channel performance that accommodates two performers simultaneously. Independent XLR outputs allow for separate EQ and volume control of each channel, with a 328-foot wireless range and diversity antennas providing stable, dropout-free performance. The system is well-suited for live shows, ensemble settings, and multi-instrument performances.

The half-rack receiver is built into a metal chassis and includes a rackmounting kit and BNC extension cables. The antennas feature BNC locking connectors for rear or remote mounting. An LCD display provides clear readings of frequency, audio, and RF levels, while two XLR outputs and a single 1/4" output offer flexible connection options.
