Product highlights and buying context
The Evno TPX1-3.5 trumpet microphone system is meticulously handcrafted in the USA to deliver the most natural sound reproduction for trumpet and flugelhorn players. Designed specifically for bell mounting, it provides maximum gain before feedback while maintaining the true tonal character of the instrument without coloration. The high SPL-tolerant capsule handles everything, from soft passages to lead-style playing, capturing every nuance with clarity and precision. This configuration includes a locking 3.5mm cable for Sennheiser and other compatible wireless transmitters.
The TPX1 excels in a wide range of settings, from solo performances and principal chairs to high-energy horn sections. Its flexible design ensures excellent performance in low to high volume environments without the risk of saturation or harsh feedback from surrounding instruments. Whether in orchestras, jazz ensembles, or touring bands, the TPX1 delivers consistent, natural sound.
The TPX1 features a spring-loaded swivel clamp that attaches securely to trumpet and flugelhorn bells, allowing for quick installation and removal. The clamp rotates away from the bell to accommodate mutes and can be repositioned easily, making it adaptable for multiple instruments. The 5.5" Flex-Stay gooseneck holds its position reliably and enables precise microphone placement, even when using accessories like mutes or playing in varied environments.
This version of the TPX1 ships with a TA3 to locking 3.5mm cable for Sennheiser wireless bodypack transmitters. The modular design allows players to move between traditional wired setups (with the separately available PS95 power supply / preamp) and flexible wireless configurations with minimal effort. Optional packages are available for different wireless configurations.
