It provides a clear, uncolored representation of the instrument’s tone—ideal for soloists, section players, and performers in high-volume settings. This configuration includes a TA3 cable for AKG and other compatible wireless transmitters.
The TBX system is engineered to handle the strong output levels produced by brass instruments without saturating or distorting the signal. From jazz ensembles and orchestras to horn-driven bands and marching fields, the TBX offers the reliability, fidelity, and flexibility brass players need.
The included Evno Swivel Clamp attaches easily to the bell of the instrument using a lightweight, spring-loaded mechanism. It holds the mic securely in place while allowing quick on/off movement and swivel adjustment to accommodate mutes. Designed to keep the microphone aligned and stable without padding or slippage, the clamp allows precise placement of the mic capsule at the instrument's acoustic axis. The 5.5" Flex-stay gooseneck holds its shape for consistent positioning and can be easily adjusted as needed.
This version of the TBX ships with a TA3 to TA3 cable for AKG and McCormick wireless bodypack transmitters. The modular design allows players to move between traditional wired setups (with the separately available PS95 power supply / preamp) and flexible wireless configurations with minimal effort. Optional packages are available for different wireless configurations.
