Evno Microphone Systems TBX-ST Wired Microphone System for Trombone (Stand Mount)

Designed and manufactured by hand in the USA, theEvno TBX-ST trombone and low brass wired microphone system is built specifically for high-SPL brass instruments and engineered to capture the natural sound of trombone and other low brass voices while delivering exceptional gain before feedback. It provides a clear, uncolored representation of the instrument’s tone—ideal for soloists, section players, and performers in high-volume settings.

Built for stand-mounting, the TBX-ST system is engineered to handle the strong output levels produced by brass instruments without saturating or distorting the signal. From jazz ensembles and orchestras to horn-driven bands and marching fields, the TBX-ST offers the reliability, fidelity, and flexibility brass players need.

The included ST-CL Clamp mounts to any standard threaded microphone stand, providing a flexible alternative to clip-on setups. Ideal for pit musicians, orchestras, or limited-movement environments, it keeps cables and power supplies away from the instrument and music stand. It can be used on boom or straight stands to position the microphone over a trombone, in front of guitars, or at various heights for brass instruments. Evno microphones attach via a thumb screw, either at the mic body or the 5.5" gooseneck, allowing for versatile placement—perfect for live shows or compact home studio setups. The mic also includes the 7-point variable suspension ring, which significantly reduces common vibration issues caused by the low frequencies.

The TBX-ST system includes the Evno PS95 preamp / power supply for wired operation and ships with a cable compatible with both PS95 and Shure wireless transmitters. The microphone uses a 3-pin mini-XLR output, allowing seamless integration with Evno, Shure, Sennheiser, AKG, and McCormick wireless systems (cables for AKG and Sennheiser sold separately or available in bundled packages).
