Product highlights and buying context
The Evno GTX-W2 system combines the Evno GTX acoustic guitar microphone with Evno's W2 dual-channel wireless system to deliver high-quality sound in a reliable, rackmount-ready format. Ideal for live performance, remote recording, and stage setups where speed and portability matter, this all-in-one system ensures natural acoustic tone with wireless freedom. Paired with the W2 dual-channel wireless system, it offers true flexibility with independent control of two microphones—ideal for players who need expanded wireless setups.
Please note that a second, separately available, transmitter/microphone combination is required to access the second channel on the W2 receiver.
Handcrafted in the USA, the Evno GTX microphone is precision-engineered to reproduce the full tonal character of acoustic guitars. Its slim-profile body mounts securely via the included GTX-CL side clamp, offering stable positioning and easy adjustments. With its right-angle Flex-Stay gooseneck and seven-point suspension, the GTX captures sound with clarity and detail-maximizing gain before feedback while avoiding tonal coloration. The 3-pin mini-XLR connection supports wireless use with the included Evno A1 transmitter and wired use with the separately available PS95 power supply.
The GTX-CL side clamp offers a padded, adjustable fit for guitar bodies from 74 to 118mm wide. It features dual thumb screws for positioning and a slotted mount that securely locks the microphone in place without damaging the instrument.
At the heart of the system is the W2 dual-channel receiver, which supports two microphone transmitters at once. Simply add an additional Evno mic and transmitter combination for compact, dual-channel performance that accommodates two performers simultaneously. Independent XLR outputs allow for separate EQ and volume control of each channel, with a 328-foot wireless range and diversity antennas providing stable, dropout-free performance. The system is well-suited for live shows, ensemble settings, and multi-instrument performances.
The half-rack receiver is built into a metal chassis and includes a rackmounting kit and BNC extension cables. The antennas feature BNC locking connectors for rear or remote mounting. An LCD display provides clear readings of frequency, audio, and RF levels, while XLR outputs and a mirrored 1/4" output offer flexible connection options.
Operating in the 902 to 928 MHz UHF band for North America and Brazil, the W2 receiver is compatible with Evno A2, A4, and AH transmitters; add an additional mic and transmitter for dual-channel operation. With 99 IR-selectable channels, you can run up to 5-6 systems simultaneously, making it suitable for bands and ensembles using multiple Evno microphones.
