Evno Microphone Systems BSX1 Wired Microphone System for Bassoon

Designed and manufactured by hand in the USA, the Evno BSX1Bassoon Microphone (Wired Single Mic System) is built specifically for the acoustic needs of the bassoon and engineered to capture the natural, uncolored sound of the instrument while maximizing gain before feedback. Its compact single-microphone design is optimized for clarity, tone preservation, and ease of use in a variety of performance situations.

The BSX1 can be mounted over the top of the bell joint or around the strap ring, with flexible positioning to suit personal preferences. The included BSX-CL clamp allows for secure attachment to the bell or boot joint, and positions the mic at the ideal axis point—without twist or slippage—using a padded hook-and-loop strap and thumbscrew. A lightweight 5.5" gooseneck holds position firmly while remaining discreet and easy to adjust.

The system is compatible with both wired and wireless operation. It includes the Evno PS95 power supply for hardwired use and ships with a cable that supports both PS95 and Shure wireless transmitters. The BSX1's 3-pin mini XLR output also works with Evno, Shure, Sennheiser, AKG, and McCormick wireless systems (adapters for AKG and Sennheiser sold separately or available in system bundles).
