Earthworks P30-S Periscope Gen 2 Gooseneck Microphone for Choirs/Instruments

The Earthworks P30-S Periscope Gen 2 is a professional, gooseneck, supercardioid, condenser microphone designed to accurately capture vocal and musical performances—from solo instruments, to ensembles, to choirs, and in concert halls, houses of worship, and studios. Periscope Gen 2 builds upon the quality of the original models, offering stellar polar-pattern control, even more balanced frequency response, lower phantom-power consumption, and improved design quality. Earthworks microphones are renown for their natural and uncolored sound, extended frequency response, and pristine audio fidelity.

• The P30-S Periscope Gen 2 features a small microphone head attached to a flexible mini gooseneck as well as a minimal profile that won’t attract attention away from your choir.
• Instead of having to reposition the whole microphone or mic stand, simply flex the gooseneck to quickly reposition the mic capsule.

• Earthworks Gen 2 technology ensures that the supercardioid polar pattern is consistent across the entire frequency range, delivering natural, lifelike sound in the entire front hemisphere, with highly effective rejection of unwanted sounds across the rear.

• With a 20 Hz to 25 kHz flat frequency response and exceptional low noise (20 dB SPL A-weighted), the P30-S Periscope Gen 2 delivers studio-quality clarity and detail, for true broadcast-ready sound, whether the source is close-up or distant.

• The P30-S Periscope comes with a high-quality foam windscreen specifically chosen for its acoustic transparency and minimal effect on the microphone’s polar response.
• Be confident that using a foam windscreen to prevent indoor wind noise generated by HVAC and ceiling fans will not degrade the performance of your microphone. The windscreen also provides some protection against dust.

• Gen 2 circuitry reduces phantom-power consumption and maximizes compatibility across all preamp and input types.
• The microphone is designed, tuned, and assembled in the USA.
