DPA Microphones 4166 CORE+ Omnidirectional Flex Microphone Boom (110mm, Beige)

The 4166 CORE+ Omnidirectional Flex Microphone Boom from DPA Microphones is a replacement microphone boom for the 4166 headset or earset (both sold separately). The CORE+ technology in the 4166 delivers a wide dynamic range and almost completely neutralizes distortion at SPLs up to 133 dB, helping to provide clean, crisp, and natural sonic performance, even on loud stages. The adjustable mic boom can be worn on either the right or left side, depending on preference. This version of the mic features a 110mm boom length, the standard size for most users.

The 4166 CORE+ features a sensitive 5.4mm electret-condenser capsule designed for standard speech and vocal applications at levels up to 134 dB SPL RMS and 137 dB SPL peak before producing < 1% distortion. The mic can even handle up to 144 dB SPL with only 10% distortion, making it well suited to a variety of presenters and performers.

Microphones with CORE+ provide even more clarity across the entire dynamic range, from low to high sound pressure levels. Miniature microphones with CORE+ provide unheard levels of openness. While CORE allows mics to handle higher SPLs without significant artifacts up to 1% THD, CORE+ eliminates those artifacts completely.

Engineered with a double-vent protection system, the 4166 boom mic is certified IP58 for dust and moisture resistance.
