Product highlights and buying context
The DS-73 Semi-Open Reference Monitoring Headphones from Direct Sound are powerful, accurate critical listening headphones designed for studio applications that require a wide, flat EQ response and reduced ambient noise. With a circumaural design that fits over the ears without completely blocking out all sounds, the semi-open configuration helps balance extraneous noises for creating quality audio mixes.
A pair of 50mm drivers can handle enough power to allow you to hear your tracks over loud performances during recording, while a high sensitivity and extra wide frequency response provides great accuracy, making it easier to pick out the finest details for mixing and mastering. A quality, gold-plated 3.5mm TRS plug ensures a clean signal, and the headphones include a screw-on adapter for connecting to 1/4" jacks. With a good balance of noise cancellation, audio quality, build quality, and output power, the DS-73 monitoring headphones can be a great choice for audio enthusiasts, home recordists, and working professionals alike.
