CHIOPT AURA 16mm T2.2 Cinema Lens (Leica L)

Poetic Cinematic Look

Capture full-frame video with beautifully diffused highlights and soft bokeh using the Leica L-mount AURA 16mm T2.2 Cinema Lens from CHIOPT. This 16mm lens is the widest in a series of five that produce cinema-quality images with vivid color, soft bokeh, minimal focus breathing and distortion, and true proportions.

Full Frame

• This 16mm prime lens has a 43.5mm image circle, covering full-frame camera sensors.
• When used with a Super 35 camera, it provides a tighter shot than when used on a full-frame camera.

Cinematic Color

Each AURA lens produces lifelike skin tones, vivid natural colors, and gentle gradients, delivering a truly cinematic look.

True Perspectives with Low Distortion

Use this AURA series lens to capture images with true proportions and minimized warping that is especially critical for vehicle rigs. Low-distortion optics produce edge-to-edge sharpness, even for wide-angle or fast-moving shots.

Fast T2.2 Maximum Aperture

• This AURA series lens features a fast T2.2 maximum aperture for artsy subject/background separation and enables impressive low-light performance.
• Advanced coatings enable this AURA lens to maintain depth, texture, and high dynamic range, even in high-contrast or backlit environments.

Lightweight, Compact Design

• The cine-style AURA lenses feature a compact, lightweight design with fine machining.
• 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears work with industry-standard lens systems.
• Focus distances are marked in feet.
