Designed for heavy-duty cine-style rigs, the Maxima 5.0 Fluid Head from Cartoni features continuous counterbalance throughout its 180° tilt range. Together, the counterbalance and a continuous fluid drag system enable smooth diagonal shots and near-free spins. This flat Mitchell-based head supports loads up to 110 lb, and it has a large digital settings display and ergonomically placed knobs and levers.

The Maxima 5.0 head weighs 28.7 lb and comes with a cine-style sliding plate, a telescoping pan bar, and a short pan bar. The camera plate is compatible with ARRI, Sony, and OConnor sliding systems, and the Mitchell base can be used with an optional 150mm half ball base.

The Cartoni K701 tripod legs feature a Mitchell flat base and are designed to provide stable support for studio EFP configurations or 35mm film cameras.

Fitted with two rotary clamping mechanisms and featuring 22mm diameter tubes, this single stage version offers superior torsional rigidity and structural integrity, while the locking knobs, which include over-tightening protection, ensure maximum clamping efficiency maintained over the tripod lifetime.
