Canon EOS R7 Mirrorless Camera with Cropping Guide Firmware

An ideal blend of performance and portability, the EOS R7 Mirrorless Camera with Cropping Guide Firmware pairs the sleek powerhouse with Canon's latest firmware upgrade designed to streamline workflows for high-volume portrait photographers. The camera is capable of high-speed 30 fps shooting for sports and wildlife and features the renowned Dual Pixel CMOS AF II focusing system to keep up with and track fast-moving subjects. And, for the multimedia image-maker, 4K video is supported at up to 60p, or 30p when oversampled from a 7K area, as well as Full HD at up to 120 fps.

This R7 mirrorless camera comes pre-installed with Canon's latest firmware upgrade, which was designed to improve workflows for high-volume portrait photographers. The upgrade overlays one of four cropping guides on both the camera's EVF and rear LCD screen, allowing for consistent posing during capture and efficient post-processing. The cropping guides are suitable for use in both vertical and horizontal orientations, and the outer frame of each guide corresponds to the standard picture frame sizes of 5 x 7" and 8 x 10", making it easier to prepare your images for print.

An update to a conventional hot shoe, the Multi-Function Shoe adds a row of pins at the front of the design to permit greater accessory functionality as well as provide power to select accessory types that traditionally rely on separate batteries. This updated shoe is compatible with select accessories, including the ST-E10 Speedlite Transmitter, DM-E1D Stereo Microphone, and AD-P1 Smartphone Link Adapter, as well as the AD-E1 Multi-Function Shoe Adapter to provide compatibility with legacy shoe-mounted accessories.
