Product highlights and buying context
Offering a simple and cost-effective mic solution for podcasting, video conferencing, webcasts, and online chat applications, the CAMVATE C2663 is a USB condenser microphone that makes it easy to achieve improved voice-capture quality on your Mac or Windows computer. Its sensitive condenser capsule features a cardioid polar pattern, which rejects sound behind the mic to minimize background noise. The mic volume is adjustable via a dedicated knob on the front of the mic.
The microphone incorporates an integral dual-layer pop filter to help control pops from vocal plosives, ensuring that strong p and b sounds won't distract the listener. Setting up the microphone is straightforward and fast; just put it on the included desktop tripod stand and connect it to your computer via the supplied USB cable. Since the microphone is USB powered and requires no software installation, it delivers true plug-and-play operation.
Simply plug it into any available USB port on a Mac/Windows computer, and select it as the input device in your computer settings. No software installation is required.
The cardioid polar pattern yields a heart-shaped response, allowing the mic to pick up the sound in front of it while rejecting much of the sound behind it. The interior uses a high-quality, anticorrosion circuit, which helps minimize noise without creating latency.
The integral dual-layer acoustic filter reduces pops from vocal plosives, giving a more professional vocal sound for broadcasting, podcasting, interviews, voice recording, video conference, singing over internet, and online chat.
The mic comes with a portable, folding metal tripod for stable hands-free use. Plus, it is adjustable to allow optimal positioning of the mic on your desk or table.
