Brunton Standard Transit Compass (Quadrant 0-90, Orange)

With a housing machined from solid aluminum, the Brunton Standard Transit Compasswill meet your needs in the field. This 0-90 quadrant-style configuration of the Standard Transit series uses an NeFeB disk magnet that resists demagnetization and improves shock resistance. Induction dampening makes for a quick-settling needle, and sapphire jewel bearing allows for smooth needle movement. The azimuth and the inclinometer deliver 1/2° accuracy with 1° graduations. Percent grade is displayed with 5% graduations. The compass is equipped with long and short sights, as well as a transparent sight in the mirror for shooting accurate bearings within 1/2°. Its flat, nonslip silicone base allows for low-angle strike and dip measurements, and it is designed with your refreshment in mind—a low-profile, built-in bottle opener lets you enjoy a cool beverage at the end of a day in the field.
