Brunton Omnislope and Jacob's Staff Bundle

Surveying, forestry, and geology will often take you over rough terrain, and the Omnislope and Jacob's Staff Bundle from Brunton is designed to make the trek easier. The bundle includes Brunton's Omnislope Sighting Inclinometer, which gives accurate readings of slopes, angles, and heights, and the Jacob's Staff, an adjustable trekking pole to which the Omnislope can be attached for field work.

The Omni-Slope LED Inclinometer from Brunton measures angles in degrees, percent grade, and 66' forestry chains for land surveying purposes. The degree scale is broken up into 1° increments, and the inclinometer is accurate to within a 1/2°. Its illuminated dial ensures that the scales can clearly be seen even in low-light conditions. The inclinometer's lightweight, aluminum housing is durable and designed for years of field use.

A precision pendulum with a 180° range gives fast, smooth, and accurate readings of height and pitch. Height can be calculated using the percentage scale and the distance between yourself and the object to be measured. As an alternative, you can simply use the 66' forestry chain scale and read out the correct height without calculating anything.

ThisCollapsible Jacob's Staff from Bruntonoffers the security of a hiking staff and the steadiness for sharp photography and accurate geographical measurements. It features 9.8" markings and has an adjustable length from 25.5 to 62.5". The staff is compatible with the OmniSlope threads or Ball and Socket Transit Mount. It has a comfortable EVA handle, a removable rubber trekking tip cover, a padded wrist strap, and a strong carbide tip.
