Bolt Flexible Macro Flash with LED Focus Light

The Flexible Macro Flash from Bolt offers dual xenon-flash heads and an LED assist light with flexible extension arms that help to illuminate and shoot close-up subjects for improved macro photography. Each flash head offers eight power levels from 1/1 to 1/128, which can be set independently from each other or turned off. The center AF assist light offers nine brightness levels or can be turned off. Each flash's flexible arm provides 14" of depth to provide creative lighting control of a subject and to achieve the ideal focal distance with a macro lens. Swap out the clear diffusers with any from the two sets of color diffusers, allowing you to soften the light or to create contrasting color to further enhance the look and feel of your photos.

Charge the flash's internal battery with any 5V / 2A USB power source and the included USB-C to USB-A cable. An automatic shut-off function powers the VM-220 down after 30 minutes to help save battery power.

Flexible Lighting Positions

Each flash head is set at the end of 14" flexible arm, allowing them to be positioned to provide lighting at any angle. This unlimited flexibility makes it possible to capture the subtle environment of a mushroom emerging from a forest floor or a bee sleeping in a pollinated flower.

Lighting Effects

Attach one of the dual 12-piece color diffusers and alter the image's mood from natural to creative lighting. The VM-220 includes two sets of diffusers, one for each flash, allowing bright and soft white light as well as many colors to add warmth and drama.

AF Assist LED Light

The AF assist light provides a continuous LED light source with nine brightness settings. This convenient 6500K light source helps the camera lock focus at close distances and in dimly lit conditions.

Rechargeable Internal Battery

An internal rechargeable battery offers 2000mAh of continuous use and can be powered from any 2A USB charger connected to the USB-C port. The automatic shut-off function powers the VM-220 down after 30 minutes of idle time to save and extend the battery power.
